Whats happening: Buffet meal followed by

Music with the “HOWLING GALES” (former members of The Calvanists,Jukebox Gypsy & The Higher Animals,)
  followed by Disco

Family Funday on Whiddy

 Enjoy a great day out this Sunday with all the family and friends on Whiddy Island at the Atlantic Challenge family Funday .

The day will start  with a FUN Run

at 1:30 (registration 1pm - free) with different routes and distances to suit all. No matter which course you take the beauty of Bantry Bay will blow you away.

Bantry Sailing club will run sailing races which will be run close to the shore for excellent viewing. 

Kayak Sprint races

over 100m will take place in front of the Bank House. Go on challenge your mates.

NOVELTY EVENTS:

 How many times will it take you to drive a 6" nail? Is it as easy as it looks?

Win a Salmon?

Guess the weight and you could be dining on a beautiful wild salmon

Want to test your real strength. ?Enter the half hundred weight throw and you could be crowned the unofficial "Bantrys Strongest Person"

Longest Bowl throw organised by Bantry Bowling Club: this event will have different categories from Serious competitor to first timers. If you haven't tried this before you should give it a go.
